Baby Leo is a totally integrated system which has been designed with a dual objective : to provide the maximum comfort to the baby and to make the work of nurses easier.
Neonatology
Baby Leo is the missing step between incubator and ordinary cot. The link between these two worlds is made gently, which is stressless for the baby. By lowering the temperature gradually, we can check whether the baby can maintain a normal body themperature
Maternity
Baby Leo makes it possible to warm up low weight babies who are not able to self maintain a normal body temperature, especially during the very first days of life. The baby and his parents will go through this difficult step without the stress caused by the baby having to be in an incubator.
After a caesarean, the baby will be kept warm while the mother is in the recovery room.
Kangaroo unit
Baby Leo is the ideal alternative to skin to skin : when mother is having a rest, it offers the same comfort to the baby as contact with the mother.
Tailor made bedding
In order to improve comfort and safety, Baby Leo should be used only with its original bedding (gel mattress, mattress cover, upper sheet and blanket). As an optional extra, cocoon-type bedding gives the baby the same sense of security as they would have in their mother's arms.
Bed tilting
Baby Leo makes it possible to tilt the bed up to 10°.
Rounded shape
Baby Leo design offers both easy cleaning and is nice to look at. The transparent part is easy to remove, giving a free full access to the bedding.
Effective and safe
The integrated electronic control unit features independent thermostats and numerous active safety devices with alarms (sound and light).
